Parent Supports Workshops

Workshops provide the opportunity for parents and caregivers alike to discuss topics in a safe and supportive environment. The facilitator will lead the group through a series of learning objectives and open discussion. The workshops are structured so that each participant can participate to the level that they feel comfortable with. There are opportunities to share knowledge and experience and therefore learn from others and begin to develop a supportive network for families who have or are experiencing similar challenges. There is no “one” expert way, each person must take what they are comfortable with and use the information in the way that makes sense for them. There are no judgements and all experiences are considered unique and valuable.
