Parent supports incorporates a number of programs and services. There are workshops, learning series and parent/caregiver committees. Workshops have a range of topics and are generally 1 – 2 hours in length and childcare is provided. Learning series are support programs that are longer in length, generally 6 – 8 weeks, 1 – 2hours in length each session. These are programs that are delivered by outside agencies or in partnership with the early years team. The parent/caregiver committees are set up at each site and provide an opportunity for families (adults) to work together on fundraising activities, special events, provide general feedback about the programs.

The parent/caregiver committees provide an opportunity for those individuals to be a little more involved with the program through fundraising activities and organizing special events.
