Inclusive Programming

As part of our commitment to ensuring that all children have equal access to programs, we offer several supports and strategies that support children with special needs and their families.

Qualified staff provide support, make referrals and ensure that the children and the family get the assistance they need and support to be able to participate fully in all of our early years programs.

Below are the various programs and services we offer that support these families.

Play It Up – is a program for families with children between 16 – 26 months.  This is an interactive program for families with children who may have a speech delay.  You and your child will participate together in fun, easy experiences to promote your child’s language development and literacy skills. Let’s Get Started – is a program for families with children 18 months – 4 years old who may need additional developmental support.  Parents will receive: support and information from a variety of professionals, practical child development and everyday strategies, ways to support your child’s development, an opportunity to meet other parents and children.

Circle of Friends (Facebook page here) – is a collaborative program for families with children of various developmental and/or special needs.  Families and children have the opportunity to interact in a safe and friendly environment.  There are monthly guest speakers, open gym time every week and other monthly activities.  The next session of Circle of Friends will begin on Saturday September 15th, please note the time has changed to 1 pm – 3 pm.
